i think manhattan's detachment from humanity happens gradually. i dont think its really "complete" until he decides to escape to mars. until then, remnants of osterman's humanity peeking out wouldnt be all that surprising to me.

I think I saw a new one yesterday on VH1 yesterday, it was Laurie heavy, it showed Laurie as a kid, someother stuff, and Laurie with a gun and acrually firing it, it had that song from Massive Attack (used in a earlier tv spot)

I just saw a new one and it may be the best yet.

It started out with a close up of a screen all in black but someone's lips were saying, "One... two... three." Between them saying it, assorted clips of the film, and after the lips said three, it was the SWAT dude and you hard Rorscach say, "Come and get me."

Then there's other great clips and and Rorscach says, "Never compromise."

It kicked ass.

I just saw one that I haven't seen or heard of before (though I may have missed it in this thread). It had a bunch of critics quotes edited into scenes from the movie, all scenes we've seen before. The quotes included things like "Monumental Accomplishment" "Cinematic Masterpiece" etc...

The very last soundbite was Rorschach saying "Never compromise. Not even in the face of Armageddon."
