Sam Esmail to Write and Direct Bermuda Triangle Movie for Universal
Mr. Robot creator Sam Esmail is attached to direct a new take on Universals long-gestating UNTITLED BERMUDA TRIANGLE PROJECT that hes set to write for the studio, the Tracking Board has learned.
Earlier drafts of the project were written by Miles Millar and Alfred Gough, as well as Juliet Snowden and Stiles White, though Esmail will be putting his own spin on the treacherous Bermuda Triangle, where numerous planes have gone missing over the years.
Given the other Bermuda Triangle projects in the works around town, including one at Skydance from director Sam Raimi, Universal is understandably keeping plot details surrounding Esmails take under wraps.
