I think a The Crown style series on The Beatles would be more practical than 4 individual movies.

That way , you can focus on the lives and origins of the 4 members, up to whatever time period they want it to end.

For example , Season one could be 1950s Quarrymen days ,through Ringo joining the band in in 1962 .

That would be the case if they were doing a single Biopic about The Beatles like Bohemian Rhapsody was about Queen.

This would be 4 biopics, each covering each member of the band ,which isn't the same as Bohemian Rhapsody.

At the same time, I doubt a Beatles series would be that limited an audience , so I gotta disagree with you there.


That being said, I get the idea of them wanting to go for a feature films more than a tv series .

Even then though, I think It would make more sense to tell the story of the Beatles over 4 films than to do biopic's including The Ringo story, no offense to Mr. Starkey .

But we may just have to agree to disagree on that.
