Samuel L. Jackson and his Uppity Films have joined forces with Andras Hamori's H20 Motion Pictures to secure life rights of Andrew Mwangura, a negotiator between pirates and the owners of vessels hijacked off the coast of Africa, says Variety.

Jackson intends to play Mwangura, a journalist and ex-marine engineer who runs the Seafarers' Assistance Programme, a nonprofit group that offers humanitarian aid to all seafarers.

Mwangura isn't paid for his negotiating work; he makes his living as a freelance journalist.

This sounds fantastic and a great role for SLJ, hopefully it isn't turned into a basic actioner.

"I've about had it with these motherf**king pirates on my motherf**king boat!!!"

"did those pirates deserve to die?"

"Yes they deserved to die and i hope they burn in hell!!!"

"What country are you from?"

Pirate: ...."what?"

"What ain't no country I ever heard of....they speak english in what?"

"...what?"

"English, mutha****a, do you speak it?!!!!"

OK, let's make that the last one.

Yeah, I miss angry swearing SLJ. This definitely needs to be R rated, so we can hear him say mother ****er at east once.

How could you miss it? It never left.

I guess you didn't see "Soul Men". If you haven't seen it and you're a fan of angry swearing SLJ, you should check it out. It's not that bad.
