Arrow Sara or Laurel For Canary?

Personally I love Sara as BC, she's kickass, looks great in leather and has a 6 pack and most importantly she has a great story, lovely personality, great chemistry with the Arrow-Team, especially Felicity [You're cute ] and is equal to Oliver in terms of Skill and combat training [Still think she'd whoop his ass]

Now laurel in my opinion, the less said the better.

FYI: Decided to make the thread so hopefully the other threads can be dedicated to said character without it clogging up about someone else.

Sara, predominantly because I appreciate her autonomy and the fact she's already in costume and we would have to have Laurel go through a full hero's journey to rise to her sister's level, and no matter what there's already enough damage done to her credibility that the generally accepted scenario of Sara-dies-Laurel-evolves would tear the fanbase apart.

Just have Laurel grow into a seperate identity for now, and only then, if her new status quo is met with resounding applause, consider shifting the identity over. Maybe something like Sara becomes White Canary and her sister picks up the old identity.

I've gotten enough Canary as is with Sara. Having to reconstruct Laurel as Canary just to get to the point where Sara already has been and is is not a plot line I care to see just because Sara has the wrong name or whatever purest reason.

Everything we've seen so far, to me at least, makes it nigh on impossible for Laurel to be able to become the Black Canary.

The only way I can see her become anything close is for her to be put into a rehab-like place, where she gets the help to deal with her addictions and emotional issues... Maybe include a physical therapy portion of it with her training with the facility's physical instructor nicknamed 'Wildcat'

Laurel will most likely end up being THE Black Canary, but I'd rather they stick with Sara. Her take on the character is rather perfect so far. Hard to imagine Laurel being as great.

Sara. Laurel feels out of place on the show due to bad writing and acting and I'm still hoping (though I doubt it'll ever happen) that they'll get rid of her. The rest of the show is usually too good for a CW show but she feels like she's out of any other CW show and brings it down when she's on screen.

My vote is for Sara. Caity has handled the 3 roles so far (Island Sara, Starling City Sara & Canary) very nicely and has shown good physical skills, good chemistry with the Oliver, Felicity and Diggle, and good emotional range. Additionally, there are still some excellent possible story lines arising out of her time with the LOA and Nanda Parbat which haven't even been explored. I would love to see these during the third season. Laura is played by a beautiful actress and the writers have done her no favors this season. I am not sure that she has the physical skills even with a stunt double. Even more importantly, there is no way to develop a believable back story for her that would provide her with the Canary cred that she would need. This is no knock against Laura/Katie, just an acknowledgment as to how well I think Caity has done as Sara/Canary.

Well,there seemed to be a swell of support for Laurel here,after last weeks episode.I'm honestly wondering how many are still truly supportive of her at this point.

Everyone will vote Sara.

However, the fact remains that Laurel WILL become Black Canary.

Maybe not soon, but eventually. Whether that means Sara will die, or cease operations as Black Canary, remains to be seen. But, it's likely the former.

You just prove a point why Katie Cassidy should not be Canary with that gif. The kind of characters she is suited for are just too far away from Black Canary
