    Happy Easter, Guest!

Scandal

This season has been pretty underwhelming so far, something about it I just cant put my finger on it. It just seems pretty obvious that Jake's ex wife shot herself in the arm

:woot: #Mellie4Prez

I feel like they took the cheap way out by not finally allowing Fitz and Olivia to be together which I knew was going to happen. That said I am not a fan of Mellie but I was beyond happy to see her get Fitz and his spoiled entitled ass together. Unless something remarkable happens this will probably be the last season I watch.

I love Mellie's over-the-top personality. She would be great as the President of the United States!

:D  She's easily my favourite character on the show, Bellamy Young is a fantastic actress and had 3 outstanding scenes in this weeks ep.
This season so far belongs to her, she is just fantastic.

I'm more or less the same way, I just want someone to call out Fitz on his ineptitude

I would love to see them go in that direction.

One more thing, did Fitz know about his father raping Mellie? cause when Mellie mentioned his father lying on top of her during their argument, he just had this blank dumbfounded look on his face like he was still trying to process the previous stuff which Mellie had just told him.

Decent episode, very glad Jake put Olivia in her place.

That was a good scene, as was the one between Liv and Cyrus, then Liv flipped the heel switch on the Stepford President! :wow:

:woot: No lies when that happened at the end and she started giving commands all I could think was ''Now that's how you do a heel turn Vince''

I was beyond happy to see Jake read Olivia for filth but then he had to go and ruin it with that wack ass kiss. I did like that ending, Olivia is President of the United States at least until Fitz finds out what she did, then they'll break up and get back together half a season later.

Last nights ending was creepy as hell with Fitz being all possessive like that,it seemed quiet uncharacteristic of him to suddenly change (sort of like last weeks ending with Liz barking out commands) like that, but I have to think that when Liv told him what she did that's when he he ''snapped''.

Fitz amazingly manages to get even creepier and Liv needs to ditch his *****ey ass, she's her worst self with him, I don't know why their "romance" is so central when it's not one you can remotely root for. Great twist with Huck at the end.

Just occurred to be that the translator who was seeking asylum in the this episode was also Samar Navabi's brother in this past episode of the Blacklist

Good catch, I wasn't sure until you confirmed it.

And lo, the night rang out with cries of "Hallelujah" at dat break up scene.

I honestly cant think of a better time to exit this show. That said, I need them to make a 30 minute show with Sally Langston the actress kills every scene she's in and I missed her this past episode.

Lord yes! Fitz and Olivia together have always been the worst part of this entire show. I don't see how that relationship will ever happen after that breakup scene.

Good riddance! The show will be better off without them together - he's always been a terrible person, Mellie tried to warn Liv...

Once again another episode where Senator Meli Grant steals the show :ilv:, Cant tell you how glad I am that Fitz and Liv have broken up they have become so incredibly toxic together during the last 2 seasons, sort of reminds me of Beth and Jerry's relationship (Rick and Morty)

Kerry Washington Reveals She Was Fired from TWO Pilots for Not Being ‘Hood’ Enough
“Before ‘Scandal,’ I was actually cast in two other pilots. Both went to series, but I was fired and recast,” Washington said. “For both, it was because they wanted me to sound more ‘girlfriend,’ more like ‘hood,’ more ‘urban.’”

While Washington experienced the repercussions of not fitting a certain stereotype, she soon discovered that it wasn’t exclusive to racial cliches.

“I’ve had friends of mine say like they’re tired of ‘gayface’ and I was like, ‘What’s gayface?’ They were like, ‘It’s the gay version of blackface, like come in and be more effeminate,”‘ Washington said, recounting past conversations.

[BLACKOUT]I think its pretty obvious that Cyrus isn't involved in Vargas's death but Olivia is too blind to see it, and will spend most of the season trying to prove his guilt[/BLACKOUT]

So glad they focused on Cyrus this past episode, Jeff Perry is such a great actor.

Cant help but think that Fitz is behind all this.

Finally

It's the right call, this season has been very silly.
