Scandal

Hi, Jaymes. Learn how to read yet? :o

Shonda doesn't really do recasts. If someone wants to leave or she writes them out, they're gone. At the very least, he'll be written off ala Henry Ian Cusick after season 1. But more than likely; he dead.

Recasts of major characters don't tend to be done on TV anymore. I think at this point, the audience is advanced enough to see that as an insult to their intelligence.

If he's gone and the season ended with a life or death situation for him... I think this ends only one way.

I can't really see them recasting. Short has had a pretty prominent role as a Gladiator and he has always been Olivia's button man. Also considering how things ended with her leaving, his death might be what brings her back.

It will be interesting to see if they go through with killing Harrison off, or if Shonda & Co. re-cast the role.

I hope they kill him. The show needs something like this to shake things up. I also wonder how long this was in the works. I remember reading Rhimes saying that Harrison was her gun on the wall story wise and they were waiting to really tell his backstory, but the whole Adnan Salif thing was a snooze.

I would enjoy some Scandal scoop! –Kyle
If you fretted that Joe Morton’s new role on the TNT drama Proof would translate into less Papa Pope, don’t. At least not yet. Morton told me that production on the Jennifer Beals-led series doesn’t begin until January, so Scandal has dibs on him at least through the first half of Season 4. (I also asked the estimable actor for his thoughts on Rowan offing POTUS’ teen son: “I was pleasantly surprised” that they went there, he offered. “I thought it was a perfect way to end the season.”

I doubt Harrison's dead for real and Papa Pope enjoys troling folks like that (see him faking Maya's death)

Harrison is most definitely dead. Columbus Short got fired from the show after his domestic abuse allegations came up.

Shonda Rhimes don't play that!

You know....because there is no body, and this is Scandal, I am prone to agree with this.

Yet she was willing to give Washington another chance after some years passed. I think she can be forgiving....unless your name is Heigl.

Harrison is dead and the body was found as that is how they knew he was shot otherwise he would still be missing.

Found the premiere kind of boring. But Scandal's premiere episodes usually are until the very end.

I was hoping to never hear the B613 again.... Alas.... I was disappointed. I did finally like SR and company finally bringing in the kids.

Le sigh tho.... No real Olitz

But that Papa Pope/Olivia scene, though! :wow:

So decided to give this series a go on Netflix, so far 4 episodes into the first season its not bad I just don't care for all the Olivia/President stuff (who by the way just comes off as really unlikeable)

So I'm nearly caught up with this show, and I have to say Fitz and Olivia have to be one of the worst on again off again couples in television, there is just nothing between them, right now I have to say the only story Im invested in is Hucks story as well as the B613.

Also President Fitz just comes across as an idiot ''who has more money than the US ?''

Finished season 4 earlier today, man what a cop out of an ending, it just felt so rushed and forced, and Fitz came off as a huge hypocrite for firing Meli. Im also fairly certain that Cyrus is gonna be the one running Command now (since that where the real power is,which he has craved).

Finished watching last nights season 5 premier, and I just cant imagine where they got that royal family story line from.:whatever:

The Royal storyline is basically a riff on the death of Princess Diana back in the 90s. There were conspiracy theories at the time she was murdered by the royals for similar reasons as in the premiere. Hence which is why the queen looks like Elizabeth and her son looks like Charles and why they have British accents. lol. The Princess in this version though was American and Fitz called her"America's Princess" while Diana after her death was dubbed "The People's Princess".

I was kinda underwhelmed by the premiere. Its probably because they've basically taken away most of the epic challenges in front of Fitz and Olivia so now everything else seems a bit like small ball by comparison.

second episode of the new season finished at President Fitz just continues to be the worst.

Anyone know if this guy is related to Clark Gregg?

.

Mellie swigging her hooch and dropping truth bombs! :funny:

So they are broken up again..I really thought they were gonna truly change the status quo but once again...

Millie is a fool she and Cyrus will only work until she gets into office and then they'll kill each other there is no respect between the two of them.
