Scandal

That's all good news IMO, I think they need to keep Olivia and the President apart, I think he's kind of a *****ebag, and his wife is the perfect political schemer this type of show needs.

Adding her to the creepy Cyrus will really amp up the White House aspect of next season.

Will season 2 be longer than 7 episodes?

Scott Foley has booked a return trip to Shondaland.

The former Grey’s Anatomy actor is joining the cast of Shonda Rhimes’ latest ABC hit Scandal, TVLine has learned exclusively.

Details on Foley’s role are being kept under the tightest of wraps, but sources confirm that he’s on board for a major arc to air towards the end of the show’s current second season.

Shortly after Foley wrapped his two-season recurring stint on Grey’s in late 2011, Rhimes raved to TVLine, “We’re so in love with Scott Foley. And we would’ve kept him [on Grey's] if we could.”

Foley’s Scandal gig comes two months after Fox prematurely halted production on his planned-midseason comedy Goodwin Games. Network president Kevin Reilly said last week that the show’s seven produced episodes could air this summer.

Jesus, this show is twisted. I love it. :o:up:

FITZ, NO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Somebody wipe me down!!!

That ***** had it coming though. Big time. :o

Lisa Edelstein‘s career is about to get rocked by Scandal.

The former House MVP has booked a guest stint on ABC’s sophomore smash, TVLine has learned exclusively.

According to sources, Edelstein will play a client of Olivia Pope and Associate on the series, which is returning to a (mostly) case-of-the-week format in this season’s final nine episodes.

Edelstein’s post House gigs have included a run onThe Good Wife, a guest stint on Elementary, and an arc on House of Lies‘ current second season.

Astrid is getting Scandalous.

Former Fringe star Jasika Nicole will guest-star in an upcoming episode of ABC's political fixer drama, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

Details about Nicole's role are being kept under wraps, with reps for the show only confirming that the role is top secret and will be very surprising. Since Scandal has had its share of shockers, Nicole should fit right in.

Executive producer Shonda Rhimes first announced the news Wednesday night on Twitter. "We have Jasika Nicole (Fringe's Astrid) guest starring on ep 219 of Scandal. Which makes me go totally fan-girl with excitement."

Nicole is best known for playing Astrid Farnsworth, the Fringe Division junior agent who really became another member of the Bishop family on Fringe, which just recently wrapped its sixth and final season.

Scandal airs Thusdays at 10/9c on ABC.

lol at the promos going on about the final scene. The thought crossed my mind that Joe Morton's character was Olivia's father about a week or two ago.

This should be good, though.

ketchup for that crow sir?

Why? I said might due to the character being someone who fixes problems for rich people, not an invalid concern given it's usually those fighting the rich and political schemers that are popular..

I didn't really see it coming, myself. Great twist.

Glad to see David sticking it to Billy and that he didn't blame Olivia for everything.

From the time they introduced his character, I KNEW he was gonna end up being her father. It's the only thing that would make any sense!

Anyone else expecting Olivia to be shot as she walked out her building?

Surprised that Morton is her dad.

And how creepy was thingimabob (so awful at remembering names) when she went psycho with the drill?

Yeah, Quinn's a mess.

I really like this show, for all it's foolishness, it's a procedural I can get behind. It's like a pseudo-procedural. Sometimes they follow cases, sometimes not.

Good for Kerry. She's been underrated for a long time.

I hope we get more Hollis Doyle next season, he's the most entertaining character on the show and we need to see Harrisson get an arc of some sort too.

Wish Tony Goldwyn got a nom too. I loved him in the episode where he bumped off Verna.

I really was kinda hoping for Jeff Perry (Cyrus) to get a nod too. He's acted his ass off this past season.

Jeff Perry definitely deserved a nod. I'm still a little bit puzzled on how the actor who played James received anything.

Lisa Kudrow Joins ABC Drama ‘Scandal’
By NELLIE ANDREEVA

EXCLUSIVE: A Friend-ly gladiator is joining the gang on Shonda Rhimes’ hot Washington DC drama Scandal. Friends alumna Lisa Kudrow has been tapped for a recurring role on the series’ upcoming third season. In typical Shonda fashion, details about Kudrow’s character are kept under wraps but I’ve learned that she plays a politician. On the Kerry Washington-starring drama, Kudrow is joining her long-time producing partner Dan Bucatinsky, who received an Emmy nomination for his recurring role as Cyrus’ (Jeff Perry) long-suffering husband. This marks Kudrow’s biggest series acting commitment in a long time. Since the end of Friends and her followup series, the cult HBO comedy The Comeback, Kudrow has been focused on producing as well as her online-turned-TV improv show, Web Therapy.
