Is there really no thread yet? I did a search and nothing came up, but the search function has been kind of dog**** lately, so...

Anyway, I just started a binge-watch through Netflix and I’m in love.

Also discovered this show late into the series, and binged through it , was a pleasantly surprised how into it I got, its my go-to recommendation when asked what to watch on Netflix's....currently await the finally season

finally found this available (outside of netflix) and starting watching the 6th/final season, not sure where their going with it yet, but, it still holds up from the prevous seasons so far

My wife has binged watched the whole 6 seasons in about 2 weeks!!
From what I've seen its a very charming show. Everyone is well cast & plays their role well (although what is Catherine O Hara's accent about?)
I was very pleasantly surprised that both Eugene Levy's children are involved in the show - David & Twyla in the show respectively. Daniel Levy is also the co-creator.
I found this gave the show some extra charm.
It's a shame it's finished.

^ I didn't even realize at first about that being his real son (once I found out it made sense) but, didn't know about Twyla

of all the weird/messed up stuff Twyla would always say throughout the show, she real was given the best story arc at the end

Love this show, though I still haven't seen the final season. Put it on Netflix already, dammit!

This might have been the greatest moment on any TV show, ever:

YAAAAAAAAAAASS Moira!

EDIT: Oh, a win for Eugene Levy too.

Wild seeing them completely sweep the Emmys tonight. Though I'm pretty bummed that it meant The Good Place ending ever getting a single win.

I’m very glad to see it win especially because of Moria. Just finished it last night and I will definitely miss the cast

Ha, well Moira as a balrog would be awesome, but damn autocorrect

Damn right! Okay now I need Catherine O’Hara to play the Balrog in that LOTR series on Amazon. Let’s make this happen, Internet!

Finished S6 a few days ago. The Emmy sweep was well deserved. The last two episodes were non-stop emotion.

If I ever want to make myself feel sadder than usual, I think about who John Candy might’ve played on Schitt’s Creek if he were still alive today.

I just finished the show this past weekend. It definitely deserved the awards it got as it proved to be a bright spot in a bleak year. It was also one of the few sitcoms I've seen where all the leads are equally funny.

He'd have fit right in for that town.

Speaking of, I was surprised that there weren't any SCTV alum guest stars at all during the show, or even any from the Christopher Guest movies for that matter. But the fact that celebrity guest stars were basically non-existent made the show more grounded. Even The Office gave in and got big guest stars towards the later seasons.

Yeah I think the highest profile guest stars they roped into this were Henry Czerny and Victor Garber, and that was only just before the end.

I just finished watching this series and I absolutely loved it. Canadian humour is definitely different from American humour (I'm thinking Schitt's Creek vs. Brooklyn 99 for example). It's much more subtle.

I think Alexis had the best character arc. Plus her nose booping made me laugh. And Stevie is so dry and she's always in the background loving the drama.

I'm sad to see the show go, but it deserved every award it got.

I def think Alexis was the most entertaining character on the show and the best looking lol. (Pretty sure one episode she has a see through top on in one scene most likely not on purpose.)

Anyways it was an ok show. Hit or miss per episode. The final was not well done imo.
