So I done a search and to my suprise NOTHING came up about it.

Anyway, I love this show, it's byfar my favorite sitcom so far. I guess since I'm the first person to make a thread about in 8 YEARS, I'm probably the minority.

I've only recently became a fan of the show, and my favorite episode is the one where they have a suprise birthday party for Arthur. The scene where Doug and Arthur are at the buffet, and Arthur makes Doug give him stuff off of his plate is hilarious. "Now under the guise of a handshake, pass me a stuffed mushroom". haha

Anyway, I haven't seen anything this year from TKOQ's, does it still even come on? I usually just watch the DVD's.

anyway...

I heard it will be on in January and only half the shows thats normally produced and will be the last season

Kevin James and Leah Remini are funny people and have good chemistery on screen, but the writing on the show is mediocre/average at best. They should have tried to shake the characters´ lives a bit more, every episode is more or less the same thing - Doug does something stupid/selfish, gets a lecture from his wife, etc.

This is so wierd, i was just about to create a thread to ask the same question. Now that arrested development has finished this is the best sitcom on tv.

I think this season will be it's last. If I recall, I read that last season was supposed to be the last but they decided to keep it on for another year. Anyway, I enjoy the show as well.

Why the hell didn't they give them a kid???? There was so much potentially good material in that area.

It's pretty standard sitcom, never really tried to do anything new (other than keeping a kid out of the mix). It's not great, but not bad either. Doug actually reminds me a lot of a friend of mine, minus the hot wife.

I love the King of Queens for what it is, and that's just a simple husband vs. wife sitcom. I don't think I see anyone complaining about the "honeymooners" as being weak on writing.

Why does even the most simple of things have to be scholary now?

Sorry, not every TV show SHOULD be written like Lost, or CSI Miami. It's a sitcom (situation comedy), and shouldn't be held to the same accolades of anything else.

I agree 100%, but can you imagine the jealousy from him towards the baby, that would have been some hilarious material!

The wife and I were just discussing that last night. I flipped through my listings in my digital programming for two weeks and didn't see anything but late night reruns.

Great show! They are too funny!

Yeh, for a show that seems like its just the same old thing, I find myself watching the reruns and laughing like crazy all the time.

There was a great episode on recently where William Hurt played Arthur's psychiatrist and took him into the past where Ben Stiller played his jerk dad. Interesting...

But I think there are much funnier sitcoms... Scrubs, The Office, the prematurely cancelled Arrested Development, Everybody Hates Chris, My Name Is Earl... I´m not saying the show is terrible, I actually watched the first few seasons, but then I got bored with it.

^That sucks.

Whatever happened to Richie, he was a cool (but dumb) character. I mis Doug being called Moose.

I heard the guy who plays his cousin Danny is Kevin James brother in real life, guess thats what happened to richie

^I like Danny way better than Richie, they should of had him in the show from the beginning.

I liked them both, Richie was the dumb guy who got all the chicks, he was cool.

.....even though it's a spin off of Everybody Love Raymond (Doug was a recurring character), it turned out to be a hell of a lot funnier.

Have seasons 1-5 on DVD. Everyone on that damn show has great chemistry. Arthur is the best!

Kid Arthur: ICEEEEE !

You're not lieing.

I love that Lou Ferrigno is their neighbor. It is entertaining, but utterly average.

Why aren't they at least going to have the regular number of episodes for this last season?

show returns April 4th for its final episodes i cant wait. this is by far the funniest show right next to married with children and senfeld

Not really. In 2003, the year you joined, Mirko and Malice went crazy and deleted all threads created AND NOT BUMPED before `03. So, I'm sure someone created a King of Queens thread before the wipe.

Reminds me of Everybody Loves Raymond. ;)
