    The fossil is of a sea scorpion, so it's not like this 8-foot bug was roaming around on dry land back in the day. It only lived underwater.

    Heck, we've got 5-foot wide spider crabs in the Georgia Aquarium right now..

    Being in the water is just as scary. :eek: If I saw something like that roaming around land or sea I'd faint.

    Yeah great eye candy/blow them up movie, but man was it a total FUBAR in terms of a military stand point, they made the military minds in that movie seem like uber-morons.

    A bug of that size would kill you.Knowing you,you might try to use a bat to squish it.But it would use a claw to cut you in half.

    Insects have been on the Earth for more than 2x as long as humans (apes) have.
