Now that I know why they chose this speciesWhy are they so confident this will happen as planned? Do they plan on controlling the aging process?
There shouldn't be a problem with aging. They grow at a normal rate.
 
Ironically, I did watch a film in which Willem Defoe finds the last Tasmanian tiger, and kills it.
