I only know Mikey Madison from her role on Better Things, as well as her appearance in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. I know she's apparently in one of the Scream films, but I haven't seen that- though she's a very good actress, so I'll probably check this out.

I didn't love 'Red Rocket' as much as some, but overall am a fan of Baker. Excited to see this one!

I always want to bookmark the “____ is getting Best Actor/Actress buzz!” proclamations that come immediately after these festivals, because as worthy as the performance might be, you just know that bigger names in flashier projects are waiting right around the corner to overshadow the entire film.

Saw the trailer with longless. Mikey looks great, but I get the Uncut Gems comparison, but uncut gems is milking things done from After Hours and so forth.

Same, but while I get the grimy glitz NYC vibe, this feels very tonally different to me. It's a manic love story, whereas Uncut Gems was a chaotic downward spiral.
