i heard a few times that she went dressed as catwoman t othe set of BR nad also to a talk show dressed up, i was wondering, does anyone have a screen cap/ pic of the tv show and/or a description of what kind of costume she wore? was it the purple costume? grey? etc

What happened is this; Sean Young was actually cast as Vicki Vale for Batman, but was injured filming a (later unused) horse riding scene.

Young was so determined to be cast as Catwoman she made her own costume and went onto the Warner Bros lot in it, along with her aides, all carrying walkie talkies. She was looking for Tim Burton but he hid in his bathroom/under his desk.

Sounds insane, but George Lazenby did much the same thing and won the James Bond role that way.

As for what her costume looked like, I doubt Young was such a fan of the comics that she copied one specific Catwoman costume. More likely it was a rushed version, and resembled the 1960s TV Catwoman castuits.

Actually she also went on TV in 1991 and acted the part out trying to gain attention. I was in Cerritos California at my cousins house at the time and watched it myself, probably on youtube somewhere... and uh... it was pretty embarrasing to say the least..... t:

She went on a talk show, Joan Rivers, I think, wearing a makeshift Catwoman costume, slinking about. iIheard that Burton was actually a little freaked out by her antics.

I feel kinda bad for her, she was also dropped from the film Dick Tracy and replaced for the role of Tess Trueheart. not to mention she hurt herself and had to drop out of batman, then only to get turned away in the next film.
