I don't know if anyone here can make it or cares to, but it sounds like something fun to put on a resume: "helped set world record for largest gathering of DC super heroes." The Los Angeles event is on of two official locations for the American segment of the event. The other U.S. location will be in Smallville (yes, Smallville) in Illinois. For participating locations by country, please refer to the following link

Calling all Super Friends! On April 18th, the Justice League will face its greatest challenge when they attempt to break the world record for the largest gathering of DC Comics Super Heroes. But they can’t do it without you! How can I help, I hear you ask? Simple! Just show up fully dressed as one of your favorite DC Comics Heroes. Suit up, show up, and be ready to make history!
Where?
Hollywood and Highland Center
6801 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, California 90028
When?
Saturday, April 18at 10:00am - 12:00pm
Next Week · 81°F / 59°F Clear
Rules?
Heroes Only
While there are many great DC Super-Villain costumes out there, in order to be counted as part of the world record attempt you must be dressed as a Super Hero found within the DC Comics universe. If you choose to dress as a Super-Villain, you can still join the fun, but will not be counted for the world record. Same goes for other hero adjacent people. Everyone must be dressed as a Super Hero!
Approved Costumes
What counts as an approved costume? First, it must be head-to-toe. Imagine Batman suiting up to save Gotham City. Would he fight crime in a T-shirt and jeans? Unlikely. Second, the costume must be instantly recognizable as the DC Comics Super Hero you’re dressing as. Your purple Superman costume with the pink cape is creative but sadly, it doesn’t count. Stick with blue and red.
Children
Attention parents! Please note that only those dressed as DC Comics super heroes will be able to enter the holding area and be counted towards the World Record attempt. This means that if your child is dressed up but you are not, they will have to either enter the holding area without you or not be counted, so get your capes ready!
