Is it just me or is Malcolm the only likable character now?

Jeri is back to using people.

Jessica just let her mom off the hook for multiple murder.

Trish just gave drugs to a recovering addict.

Inez steals from people.

And these are the, "good guys." Karl and Alisa are worse.

Episode 8 to me is the point where a ton of people just became unsympathetic.

This season pretty much soured me on everyone except Malcom really, who did mess up a lot too. But Malcom was basically seduced and manipulated by Trish.

Frankly, Malus seemed like less of a bad guy than Jessica and Trish by the end of the season.

Now that I think about it, Oscar isn't bad either.

This episode is about mother-daughter bonding. We get to see them interact, which is nice to see. The Malcolm/Trish stuff is cool - particularly with Malcolm using good PI skills. It seems like he's the only one who does his job. It's nice to see Hellcat use her claws as well. The name drop of The Raft might be the first post-Civil War reference of any Netflix show.

Yep. All these characters have just become so hard to like.

Trish is crazy now.

I’m actually surprised they said “The Raft” since it always seems like these writers are afraid to say the names you would hear easily in the films.

And I agree with others thinking no one is really likeable but Malcolm. Maybe Oscar too after he gave his reasons for being a dick earlier.

I forgot to mention it in the earlier episode, but the guy who heals with his hands and gets weak from it had me thinking of The 4400 since I did a recent rewatch of the show.

Yep, these past two episodes broke me... I can’t finish this season.

Weirdly, the characters I have the most sympathy for are Dr. Karl and Alisa. I totally want them to retire to a beach somewhere. He didn't intend to create a killing machine and he's trying to make right what he did to Alisa. And Alisa didn't ask to become a super-strong rage-monster.

They've done such a good job humanizing the 'bad guys' that they sorta feel like the most honestly real people in the whole show.

I mean, Trish was so cool last season and now she's just inhaling super-soldier crack because she wants to be cool? She's really waaaaaay more of an a**hole than Dr. Karl or Alisa.
