Discuss Episode 9 of Season 2, "For Pete's Sake" here.

ANY SPOILERS FOR EPISODES BEYOND THIS ONE MUST BE TAGGED.

Some Viola Davis level snort tear acting this episode

Incest kids, heads on spikes, avenging long-dead family members, characters getting murdered all over the place... throw in Shou-Lao the Undying dragon from Iron Fist this could be a George R. R. Martin show

James Lucas is never going to get over titanic :)
This episode really made me miss Reg E Cathey

Whenever things start going bad Mariah gets super ratchet and ghetto

I liked the exchange between Mariah and Misty

The actress who plays Priscilla always seems like she just woke up.

If you took a shot of Jamaican rum every time Bushmaster corrected everyone that Mariah Dillard is Mariah Stokes, you would be so wasted by now.

I was thinking Danny would show up in this episode.

Man that family reveal... I had a feeling that’s where it was going, but damn. A lot of stuff to unravel in that conversation.

Rose really could’ve made room for Jack tho.

When Luke asked his dad if he wanted something to eat... I thought he was going to say he could go for some ribs.

Not sure how I feel about the Nandi thing. Will have to see how that plays out.

“Stokes... Mariah Stokes.”

Dude’s story made me want to go to Jamaica.

Bushmaster in the SWAT van at the end reminded me of Kingpin in the Daredevil season one finale.

OK, the NYPD really suck at dealing with enhanced individuals. Their idea of escorting Bushmaster to jail is just a single van and three cops: a driver, and two ESU officers riding in back with the prisoner. Just for comparison, Wilson Fisk got a full-on armored truck with about 10 escort vehicles and he wasn't enhanced. No wonder Bushmaster was able to escape.

Bonus points in idiocy to the cop that somehow overlooked the grenade when patting down Bushmaster for weapons...

Damn, the Stokes family drama continues to impress. I know this episode built a lot on what happened last season, but the new additions fit seamlessly. It's a seriously messed up situation. I wonder if Tilda will completely turn against her mother in this or just wash her hands of all sides (if she gets free).

I love the history of the Maroons. If you don't know much about them, I'd recommend checking out this podcast. Bushmaster didn't stay in custody long, which I appreciate because we've had too many bad guy in custody stories recently.

Once again, by keeping the suspense and action up for these episodes, I think the show is continuing to go strong. Five Stars.

I got to be honest this was the best episode of the season for the exchange between Maria & Tilda I was hooked by that part.

Maria has officially reached all new levels of craziness and im hoping Bushmaster gets his revenge by the end now lol she seems like the worst of those two evils.

Bushmaster in the SWAT van at the end reminded me of Kingpin in the Daredevil season one finale.

It was basically the same scene, beat for beat.

Show did that more than once this season.

Alfre Woodard has been acting the hell out of this season. The revelation about Tilda's parentage was brutal. Perfectly calibrated in its execution.

She's always been a fantastic actress. :D

I'm just now getting around to finishing this season because it has just struggled to hold my attention, but holy **** I was riveted throughout that whole scene. Her callous "I'm sorry" at the end was amazing.

Damn, Mariah dropping those truth bombs. Well you wanted the truth!
