Age of Extinction Sequel Story Ideas

What would you want for a possible sequel to Bay's TRANSFORMERS?
I for one would love to see new Autobots coming to earth following Prime's message at the end of the first. The Autobots all coming to the planet would obviously attract Decepticon attention, and Shockwave would show up with a new army of Decepticons.

As for new characters

Autobots: Prowl
Wheeljack
Hot Rod
Grimlock (doesn't have to be a dinobot)

Decepticons: ShocKwave
Astrotrain
The Constructicons
Soundwave

I would want too see all of those, but I would like to maybe see a plot that revolves around Ultra Magnus coming to earth and him and Optimus have their little rivalry. I would also like to see Scourage as sort of the main villian maybe for the second one.

I think that the basic set-up of the story should be Shockwave coming to Earth to take the place of Megatron and creating a power struggle among the Decepticons. How the world reacts to the Transformers, as well as developing the relationship between the humans and the Autobots should also be included. A subplot involving Soundwave trying to revive Megatron should also be there.

For the Autobots, I would introduce:
Prowl
Wheeljack
Mirage
Sunstreaker
Sideswipe
The Dinobots

In regards to the Dinobots, I would simply use a modified version of the Marvel Comics origin, with Megatron taking the place of Shockwave. I present the Dinobots as having been a special operations team who followed Megatron to Earth and adopted the dinosaur alt. modes for the extra strenghth and mobility. They fight Megatron in a battle that ends with them being frozen and remaining hidden until the present day.

For the Decepticons, I would bring in:
Shockwave
Soundwave with Rumble, Ravage, and Laserbeak
Thundercracker
Skywarp
The Constructicons/Devastator
Maybe also do what was done with Barricade and Blackout in this film. Basicly just take some obscure Decepticons from the later days of G1 and reinvent them for the big screen

I'd like to see Rodimus/Hot Rod in a sequel and also Ultra Magnus, but I think if they bring UM in, they should change his disguise to something other than a car carrier because it makes him too similar to Optimus Prime. Maybe he could be naval battleship or a submarine.

They could also bring in Cup and that female transformer that was always with Rodimus (don't remember her name) but I hope to God they never bring in Springer. I don't know why, but I always hated that guy.

While on a routine mission searching for fuel source on earth, Ironhide begins to recieve a faint communication. Its cybertronian, origin earth, central Africa. Ironhide immediatly reports via there means of cybertronian radio to Optimus Prime. Prime orders Ironhide, currently in Iran, to investigate the signal and to give him the exact co-ordinance so he can join him. Several hours has passed and Prime recieves the possition of Ironhide. Prime then sets out for Africa.

Prime eventually arrives at Ironhides location to see his old friend busy scanning the base of a large mountain. Ironhide reports "Chief, its definatly of cybertronian origin, its on a loop and is encrypted, I can not break the code. If only Jazz were still around". Prime recognises the signal and decodes it. A voice announces in cybertronian "THIS IS ARK, REQUESTING ASSISSTANCE. THIS IS ARK, REQUESTING ASSISSTANCE. THIS IS ARK......" Prime turns off the signal. Ironhide shocked turns to Prime. "Is this even possible, the Ark has been missing since The Great War". "Correct." Prime replies. "It was I that gave the order to launch, it was presumed destroyed after Megatron discovered its mission, to recover the All Spark." Ironhide ponders. "It makes sense that the Ark is here, if they found the whereabouts of the all spark here on earth then thats how Megatron found it here". Optimus begins to scan for the Ark, it is pin-pointed at around 450 metres below the base of the mountain. "Who was part of the crew?" Ironhide asks. "Fleet Commander Prowl, accompanied with Cliffjumper and Wheeljack." Prime answers as he finishes his scans. "Could they still be functional? After all this time concealed below the earths surface." Ironhides question provides incentive for what Prime than answers, "There is only one means to find out, but we will need help, time to see our human friends." With that, Optimus Prime begins to make plans.



I might continue this if I get inspired, I have an idea for bringing Shockwave into the story with Starscream making it back to Cybertron to regroup amongst other plot ideas.

i like that idea. it's a cool way to introduce new autobots and the Ark. this idea could also be adapted to introduce the Dinobots.

Or dinobot, being Grimlock, I think having them all come in might be overkill. There wouldn't be enough time to establish characterisation for all the new comers (then again a heap of the TF in the first movie wont seem to get any eitherway ), still they could be used a cannon fodder

I think that is a good idea as to how more Autobots could be introduced in the sequel.

What about Unicron? I've always liked him, I mean other than Prime he's my favorite Transformer.
