Seth Rogen & Elizabeth Banks to star in Kevin Smith's "Zach & Miri Make A Porno"

But Rogen has become very pampered since then. He wrote Super Bad and pretty much every other mainstream movie he has done, his best buddy Judd Apatow direct.

Although you may be right, every impression I've gotten of Rogen from interviews and whatnot has that he is very down to earth and easy going. He may be willing to stick to the script a little more out of respect.

Something about the plot, or that it has Banks in it (whom I find really grating, although I know most around here like her), or that Smith hasn't made a hit in a while makes me very aprehensive about this film. I'm way more interested in Forgetting Sarah Marshall or Pinneaple Express at this point.

Jason Mewes? In a Kevin Smith movie?! What are the odds? :cmad:

Elizabeth Banks .

if its anything like clerks or jay and silent bob.. i wont be watching this... not even rental

THeres enough KEvin Smith bashers I dont see why there has to be one more.

Say what you want about most his movies. They arnt groundbreaking but I enjoy them. But Clerks and Clerks 2 were comedy gold, and Jersey Girl isnt even a third as bad as everyone says it is.

i enjoyed Dogma...
but it wasnt anything special

Elizabeth Banks + Katie Morgan + Traci Lords + Porno = Boobies, Boobies, Boobies!

I doubt Banks will be nude. And Lords won't be nude either. She swore off nude scenes like 20 years ago. So the only nude person here will be Katie Morgan. And her implant isn't all that great.

i think banks will be, lords could (swore off... right, why else would she be in this flick lol?), and def katie morgan w/her bad implants

Rogen is going to hell... Y'know why? Cause God is a fair man. No human can kiss both Heigl and Banks in one life time. There are rules.

Like I said, Lords I don't mind becuase she is just a real cool person my gripe there is that it's a bit token. My real problem is Morgan. There are so many adult stars that they could have got that are more personable and likeable in real life.

I would say Belladonna for example. Wether you like her or not she is still fun to watch (non-porn stuff I mean) and just seems like a lot of fun to hang out with.

ok i can get that...

I agree. Rogen does come off as a very down to earth guy. However, Smith comes off as an "I'm always right" perfectionist. Rogen may try to improv a little here and a little there and it could lead to clashing. Especially if Smith freaks out over a little improv. Rogen may seem down to earth, but I also doubt he would take ****.

^agreed. Hopefully Smith has matured enough as a director to be ok with some improv.

Rogen wanted to be in a Smith film as probably any kid in the 90's did, so he do what Kevin Smith wants, since its his film. On the other hand, Rogen brings more people to a movie than Smith, so it would be Kevin Smith's interest to let him do what he wants some of the time.

Don't a lot of directors get what the want of the actor doing it as is from the script, and then takes of improv to choose from? I really don't see what the big deal is, unless they have disagreements about the actual progression of the movie.
