BLONDES may have more fun but redheads have more sex, a study found.

Women with auburn hair "were clearly more active, with more partners and having sex more often," researchers said.

Study author Dr Werner Habermehl added: "The fiery redhead certainly lives up to her reputation."

The survey in Hamburg, Germany, found women in relationships who dyed their hair red "are saying that they are looking for something better".
