Shakira

Now that is a video.......I didn't even have the sound on and I loved it

She never fails to disappoint...except when rampant rumors of a sextape turn out to be false. :o

She's hot, but she used to be good musically and lyrically. Such a shame.

Even though it isn't my kind of music, so to speak, there were some songs on the last two discs that I liked. I'm not into this song, but the video is worth watching.

Damn, I never knew she was that flexible.

If I could be anyone for a day I'd be Shakira and I'd be a street performer and dance for money.

I love her and her music.

I bet she was popular in high school. Giggity.

her first two albums in Spanish, waaay before she went English, are very good pop albums
I have to agree, this was some of her best stuff for sure imo.

Shakira, who is known for her sexy curves and chilling vibrato, plans to keep it that way with her new album, 'She Wolf.' The singer took to Paris for a glamorous photo shoot with Vanity Fair wearing this season's Dior, Chanel and Gaultier, with a touch of Cartier bling.
According to Vanity Fair, Shakira's new album 'She Wolf' is as multi-culti as the Lebanese-Colombian singer. "I have music from India, the Middle East, dancehall, a little bit of Colombian influences. I always loved disco, so the new record has disco elements, but also house-it's electropop," she said.

she's got to be the most underated hot chick. barely ever here people talking about her

She is going to be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live on Oct. 17.

Which is interesting considering she was once called a "latin Alanis Morissette".

What? I hear people talking about Shakira all the time where I'm from. She gets pretty decent American exposure too.

Shakira is the cover girl for i-D Magazine's November issue. Kayt Jones photographed the torrid, leather-clad spread, but the sexy songstress showed her softer side in the interview, talking business and pleasure. Some highlights:

On her video for She Wolf:

"I wanted to express my vision, I wanted to articulate with images what I feel the song relates to, what it symbolizes. The golden cage that I’m in is a metaphor, because I feel like I’ve been inside a golden cage in my life for many years, with the anticipation of an animal wanting to get out. When I got into that cage for the first time for the shoot, I feel like I went completely unconsciousness at that moment. They hit ‘play’, the music started and at that moment I stared hanging from the bars upside down… the whole performance in that cage is an improvisation. I felt somehow possessed by the spirit of the She Wolf. The She Wolf that has been inside of me all these years, longing to come out. I feel much more like a woman today. I feel more inclined to certain things, to express myself in certain ways and to talk about things with less prudence."

On whether she would ever pose nude:

No, I don’t want to, I don’t need to, I don’t feel the need, I don’t think I could do it. I couldn’t be nude. Maybe when I’m 40 and I have another change of mind. I mean, 10 years ago, I could never have imagined myself in a nude leotard, with high heels, inside a golden cage, hanging from bars. 10 years ago I would have not done it. Today I say I’m never going to get naked ever, but people change, our views change so much. My views on marriage, on so many things, on life, constantly change.
