Shazam Shazam mid or post credits sequences

Should Shazam (2019) have a mid or post credit scene to further build the DCEU as a whole as a universe? Yes or no? Why or why not?

I think [the Black Adam] reveal is so obviously going to happen, it will be the worst kept post-credit "secret" reveal in history.

And even though we know it's coming, it'll still be great to see!

Sivana in trying to unlock the magic for himself, will probably do something that triggers awakening Adam.
Who has been immobilized by Magic for centuries, for never letting go of the power.

The post credit will cut back to, and show whatever Sivana unlocked, earlier.
...Has now awoken ...and out steps Adam.

Setup for Black Adam film, which is next.

The post credit scene should focus on and set up SHAZAM! characters. Not Superman or JL.

The reveal should be whatever Sivana was doing to harness magic... now awakened Teth Adam.
And be the setup for the Black Adam (anti-hero) movie.

Then the third movie should have SHAZAM vs ADAM (who believes he should be the new champion)

And no Billy/SHAZAM! should never need Superman to defeat Adam.
Billy and Adam have a personal connection to the magic, Superman has nothing to do with it.

If it's not a Black Adam set-up, I would love to see Mr.Mind set up as either similar to his New 52 introduction:

But honestly, if there is a mid credit or post credit scene, it's more likely going to be something humorous, fitting the tone and something setting up the sequel and Shazam's world and characters.

If it's Black Adam oriented. you won't see the Rock at all. Black Adam will be implied more than seen

To make the movie more better I would definitely have both a mid credits and post credits...mid credits basically to build up more of Billy/Shazam's world and post credits build up towards Shazam 2 with Dwayne aka Rock showing up in the post credits...WHAM BAM done!!!

I wouldn't say it would enhance or decrease the quality of the movie. The movie itself would stand by itself. But it's just what nice easter eggs to add to hint at what comes next or even just a playful extra scene.


It's like desert or topping, the movie has the main flavor, the extra scenes is just the sweet extra touch.

I definitely would either have Shazam's post-credits build towards Shazam's sequel either setting up whoever to be the villain for the sequel or have one of the Justice Leaguers show up in the post-credits either have it be whoever they cast as the new Bruce Wayne/Batman replacing Affleck or they have Wonder Woman show up in the post-credits to build towards WW84

My main interest is the film.
If there is a post credit scene, so be it.
The post credit scene is kind of the work.
You stay there because you don't want to miss it.
