Details under wraps except that it's a crime thriller.

Ayer is obsessed with the mexican gangster culture. That pic reminds of that Justin Timberlake pic from that one movie, dude had on mexican gang related tattoos and was a cringe fest. lol

Pretty sure that's from alpha dog. Great movie. Very underrated. I watch that film every year and it still gets to me.

I’m looking forward to this movie after seeing the trailer. At first I thought this was in the same universe as The Accountant lol

poor guy. thought he had him hehe.

Shia is going ultra method . the tattoos are real. i hope the cauliflower ears are fake hehe :)

Looks interesting. Could be decent. Shia has done well changing his image since Transformers (although he was appropriately nerdy in those films).

The reviews are in...and this looks like another critical dud for David Ayer, which is a shame since I was hoping this movie would be a return to form for him. I thought the trailer looked rather promising. The movie currently has a rotten RT score of 21%.

I finally got the chance to watch this last night and honestly outside of being fairly basic and generic and I actually thought it was pretty decent. I also really don't get the outrage over Shia's performance in this, because not only is he the best actor in it, but for me personally he was also kind of the best thing about it. I wanted more of his character, because I actually found him to be pretty interesting and very entertaining when he was on screen.

I didn't see anything about his portrayal that was any less offensive than Christian Bale performance in Harsh Times, but maybe that's just me.

This movie wasn’t as balls to the wall crazy as I was hoping it would be. It was just decent. Shia was entertaining and I liked George Lopez in this.
