Should democrats cut funding to stop the troop surge?

If they do, they will be blamed for failure in Iraq and accused of hurting the troops on the frontline.

If they don't they'll be accused of not sticking to their convictions and being all talk with no action.

It's a lose-lose situation. What should they do?

i don't think they should cut funding because they could inturn truly affect the troops that are already over there.
i just think they should come up with a way to where no more are sent.
then there wont have to be an INCREASE in spending and maybe we can start to trickle some of those people back to their homes.

i meant you cant send a soldier to fight without a gun a medpack an MRE...

he needs funds..the troops are already being sent...sure it maybe not too late... but its wrong to send a person to war without being fully equipped

that could be one way to look at it.. we are already there and we have to make sure al this death and fighting does not go in vain now... we owe it to the men and women who served to let them finish ..now that they are there.. and to cut their funding doesnt really show us supporting them..its not their fault..we should cut the presidents pay for every man killed there..then that would bring people home
