Should we impose harsher penalties on those convicted of suicide bombings?

How should suicide bombers be sentenced?

  1. They should serve more time than regular bombers.

  2. They should serve the same amount of time as regular bombers.

  3. I believe in capital punishment and think that they should be put to death.

    Do you think that suicide bombers should serve more jail time than regular bombers to show an example? Do you think they should spend the same amount of time behind bars as regular bombers? Or are you for capital punishment and believe that those convicted of suicide bombing should be put to death?

    It is in my personal opinion that examples need to be made out of these people in order to deter others from following suit. There should be a minimum of 2 consecutive life terms in prison served by anyone found guilty of commiting a suicide bombing.

    Well, suicide bombers who are successful in a suicide bombing would be dead. So therefore they should not be punished by us.

    I dont understand this thread. Do you mean the people who get caught before trying to bomb something..or the failed attempts that could get caught?

    What's not to understand? If someone commits a suicide bombing, how do you think they should be punished if found guilty in a court of law?

    I don't believe capital punishment would solve this problem but I appreciate and respect your opinion. I think that if we were to put them to death we would be no better than the suicide bombers themselves.

    WTF!? :confused: if they were a suicide bomber, then they would be dead on impact therefore wont be alive to suffer the punishment! so this thread is jus completely pointless! :down

    Uh, I might not be a lawyer, but I'm pretty sure that anyone charged with a crime is set to be tried in a court of law to determine their guilt or innocence. We'll give you time if you need to catch up on the basics.

    You know some people are actualy interested in making sure that their country remains protected from terrorists that would commit such acts, so if you don't have anything constructive to say on the matter perhaps you should just leave.

    I'm sot sure if you're trying to be clever or are just being stupid. I mean, what part of suicide don't you understand? A succesful suicide bomber dies when thier bomb explodes.

    Dude. What the hell. If a suicide bomber is succesful, then they will have blown themselves up. When you blow up, you tend to stop being alive. When you're not alive, you can't go to jail.
