Does look like one of those horrible direct to DVD monstruosities made by people who just learned where the "on" button of a camera is. The acting looks like... well... I really dont know. Something, I guess. It does NOT look like acting, though.

Yeah, looks pretty awful. The original Critters is no masterpiece but it is a lot of fun and lots of imagination, which this looks to be lacking.

The practical critters effects look surprisingly decent, but everything else about this looks absolutely horrible, especially the acting. I'll check it out because I am actually a fan of the franchise, but I'm definitely not going into it with high expectations.

Looks like a student film with a bigger special effects budget. Cinematography looks so cheap

I was looking forward to this. Then I saw the trailer. Now I'm probably going to give it a pass. It looks like imitation Critters which says something because Critters is itself a ripoff. But a good one.
