Absolutley Ridiculous.

Of all the upcimng solo film projects I say WW got the best chance of succeddding over flash and GL because of her popularity and if they pick a good actress to portray Diana.

So I guess if this JLA movie flops then we can forget a movie about WW and Flash or GL. shessh DC/ Warner get it together.

Tomb Raider and Underworld (and the sequel) were hits. All of the female comic book movies were flops bc they were bad movies (bad writing, bad directors)... Every single one changed the character drastically (Catwoman - Patience? Make-up? No Batman - Elektra - barely an assasin, parent situation changed, her training was different, way to soft - Aeon Flux - HUGE changes on all characters). If they actually made a movie with a woman and stuck to the source material it would work, don't fix something that isn't broken. But, because we live in a sexist world (still) they blame it on a the woman, not the **** script.

Its not that there isn't a market for Female lead action movies, its the fact WB and others keep F***ing them up. I think one of the best action lead females was Buffy from the The Vampire Slayer tv show. If they had made the orginal movie like the show as whedon wanted it would of done alot better.

As long as you got morons like that exec at WB your never gonna get a good action flick with a female lead.

I disagree entirely with that statement. I mean there is a chance that they could make a good Wonder Woman movie...




The best direction to take would be to focus on the hidden subtext behind how she becomes Queen of the Amazons. The movie could focus on the drama, action, and intense tribidasm/sexfights that mark her rise to the top of the Amazons before her journey out into the world of man.

Think about it... This movie could make a fortune. Hell, you could even aim for a broader audience by inserting lesbian jokes in here and there. The key is to play it at select cinemas and keep the flying to a minimum until the fireworks really start to go off towards the end.

This is the only way to make a Wonder Woman movie that satisfies all expectations.t:

Silver needs to get booted from the project badly. What it really needs is a Bryan Singer type person to give some life into the project.

And have it turn out like "Superman Returns"? I think that is why they want to wait on Wonder Woman for a while.
