Well friends its Summer, and what does Summer mean? Buy all those games you didn't get last year but wanted, cheap! The Blu-ray edition of Siren Blood Curse was one of these games, so I picked it up a few days ago and completed it about an hour ago.
It turned out to be a pretty great game, almost a mix of RE1 and 4, taking 1's controls and horror, and mixing it with 4's camera and action. The result is a game with a steep learning curve, but that's something that only adds to making it one of the most terrifying experinces on PS3.
There are a lot of genuine scares, more so than other survival horror games on the system like Dead Space and Condemned 2 (not saying its better than Dead Space though). If anyone's a fan of the genre, I fully reccomend picking it up. Its only a PS3 away seeing as its on the store and at £20 ($40), it still lasted me as long as most retail games.
