"Sixth Sense" technology

I tried searching for a similar topic about this, didn't find one. Anyway, here goes.

This right here? Holy ****. I was speechless the first time I actually watched it and saw it demoed.

Anyone else hear anything about this?

Wow, I usually go through all of the new TED talks every couple of weeks, how did I miss that one? That looks amazing. Some of the scenarios seemed a little rehearsed though, I bet it doesn't really work quite as well as they'd have you believe just yet. There's a lot of possibilities with this. You could pick up a DVD and watch trailers for it, pick up a game and watch or even play demos.

Well it's obviously very rehearsed with a lot of video cut out - there was an extended video of the "genius behind it" demoing it that was cut into the small segments that is shown on this video, but it worked almost how they showed it. Took a bit longer, but things like the calculator / watch / drawing / taking pictures and calling all worked in real time like that. The things like looking up the book info and such took a while longer, and the Newspaper thing was on a special formatted newspaper, but still it's an amazing new technology that's going to be coming REAL soon.

I mean ****, the lady says the one she has hooked up was only ~350$ worth of items (minus the cellphone/programming obviously), and just imagine - like she said with the 10 years from now perhaps the brain chip - how explosive this could be in the next 20 years.
