I thought Ichabod might of got some new clothes after getting them ripped up fighting groot but nope he just stitched them back up :funny:

He could use some new threads now after being showered with that plant thing's blood.

Holy crap I love this show. Been watching since the pilot and just got caught up on the latest episode which was really damn cool!

I really like how the show involves the supernatural stuff, it's just awesomely creepy & scary. And the monsters are consistently actually scary! I mean I was seriously freaked when Moloch first appeared, and ole Headless has been a consistent bad-ass villain, but Groot was just all sorts of scary, creepy, and totally freaky. I can't remember the last time that a supernatural monster scared me in either a TV show or a movie!

This show is so good that I wish the episodes ran more often! It strikes just the right balance between humor, suspense, & being outright creepy/scary. And the villains are consistently awesome.

Ichabod won't be getting new theads. I think that was already discussed earlier in the thread. The writers want him to hold onto that scrap of his past so he's not completely disconnected from it, and to remind the audience of his origin (as if he wasn't already out of place otherwise).

The show has been consistently good and reliable. The twists are fun too. Like who the Horseman of Death is. I did not see that coming until almost the last moment.

Question: On Sleepy Hollow, are we ever going to find out who vouched for Ichabod when Luke called Oxford? –Irene
Ausiello: Executive producer Ken Olin tells TVLine that the episode’s script originally revealed that Capt. Irving set up the charade to throw a suspicious Luke off Ichabod’s trail… but that tidbit never made it to screen. “I didn’t edit it, but I think it was probably removed for time,” Olin says. As for the loose end – whether created on purpose or by a pressed-for-time editing staff – the EP admits, “I don’t know whether now that will be paid off, but it was certainly left hanging.”

Yeah it was obvious that Irving set that up: see post #373 :awesome:

So as much as I've enjoyed this show, I thought the most recent episode was probably its weakest. I can't quite put my finger on it at the moment, but it seemed like a distraction from the overall story they're telling.

Plus, the way they went from Ichabod learning he was a father to him being at peace with his son's actions and tortured life seems a little rushed to me. I felt like that was something they could have expanded upon (and maybe they will down the road). It just seemed like they were in a hurry to get a resolution with that particular revelation.

Regardless, there were some interesting seeds planted in this show that dealt with Captain Irving's character and Ichabod & Abbie's connection, so kudos for that.

& I am guessing that Katrina will eventually make it to modern times. Like it was said that would be a big w against Moloch

I think his son isn't dead

oh yeah, I'm sure the witches didn't kill him, just, like kept him in suspended animation like his dad was. I would really be surprised if he's not already working with Moloch in some capacity. Maybe he's waiting to become the rider of War. I thought it was really weird when the possessed lady in the park said "we have one too" for no apparent reason other than maybe to note that they 'have a child' a well, meaning Ichabod's. And why would the Golem be guarding spirit church if it's Moloch's prison? I really need to rewatch the last episode cause I'm confused why Katrina's coven would've turned on her

The possessed vendor said "God may have a plan but we have one too". When the demon or whatever went from the vendor to the old lady, it simply repeated that part.

The ending was creepy and I'm glad Ichabod told Abbie what he'd seen and heard from Moloch straight away, I also think Irving is going to suffer a tragedy, maybe his wife's death so his daughter ends up living with him. Hopefully John Noble will become a series regular in season 2.

John Noble needs to just take up shop in Sleepy Hollow and join the crew.

I really like the quirks of Henry Parish the Sin Eater.

Ichabod should've put it together a lot quicker. They put a spell on him, so it's possible he laid in suspended animation like his father.

Clearly Jeremy will be brought back to the present at some point. I think Moloch might even try to recruit him and use him as an enemy against Ichabod.

Think about it. Jeremy was by himself his whole life, treated with cruelty. His only friend murdered people for getting close to him. He's going to be a maladjusted young man. He will be easy prey for Team Sleepy Hollow.

So I'm calling it right now. At some point, Jeremy comes back and he will be the enemy of Team Sleepy Hollow.

I almost cried, it was like the ghost of Walter Bishop reborn! Noble could've played it any number of ways, but he did it in such a Walter-ish way it had to be intentional

Noble has already said he would be back for season 2.

No doubt there will be a real life not stuck anywhere modern day Crane family reunion at some point

This past episode was epic.
