I have a question... almost every thread I see on this board has roughly 10 posts saying things like:

Why is this thread still open?

Insert picture of some iconic cartoon, figure etc with words echoing the above plastered on them
I just want to know why... It is the reason this only 3rd post on this board. Is the point to drive new posters away? Is it to secure some sort of elitist position if you are already a poster? Several times, I have seen a poster attempting to share something or ask an earnest question only to be balked and yelled or basically made to feel like crap because he/she did not know about or acknowledge some sort of pre-existing hierarchy on posting.
Again, I am not sure what the purpose is but it comes off as kids running the candy store.
Really, I do not intend to post here much and this is simply my view but lighten up. It is only a message board.
Let me ask you this: Let us say you were at the comic con Spiderman 3 panel and you walked in after a question had already been asked and so you posed the same question: would you prefer a simple; check the transcript we answered that already and even maybe offer some assistance providing you with a copy (link) of the transcript? Or would you prefer for everyone in the room to turn to you and say: you are f***ing moron, get the f*** out of here, you should go die for being such a f***ing idiot that you posed a similar question... die. Just die!"... ?

In any case, I am just saying snort some Ritalin kiddies and relax... we aren't debating the existence of God or whether or not bush is the anti-Christ (even then I think a calm and objective demeanor is app)
we are talking about Spiderman, the Hulk, etc. Hopefully the people here all share and enjoy a common passion which should be something we can find common ground on.
Now... having said all that, I am sure most of you will start posting things in response to this post like:

So... go ahead be witty. Laugh yourself silly. Prove to everyone on the superhero hype message board that you are a bad ass and hate authority or being called out... I really don't care. I probably won't even read it as I really don't like the attitude on this board. I am just trying to offer some friendly advice which I am sure will be perceived the wrong way.
