I liked it. Really did, especially after thinking about it more. The ending was done beautifully, really liked the score. However the movie isn't what I was expecting it to be. I wanted to watch a bunch of badasses collide on their way to kill this one guy, but what was given was way different and a lot more realistic. It's one of those 2 hour movies that feels more like half an hour, and it has some cool stuff in it so. I dunno. If you have the cash, go see it or wait for a rental.

It has a few great sequences, but on the whole it's poor, the trailer makes it look better than it was.

To be honest this is my opinion, but hey it's for what it's worth

if you can enjoy a movie for what it is, a fun dark comedy action flick, then you will probably like it, if you are a pretentious movie goer, and compare everything to Memento, or whatever it is you consider great, then you probably won't like it

This movie is totally different from how its advertised. It looks like a fun action comedy in the trailer but its more of a drama.

Did any one notice Mattew Fox aka Jack from LOST as Bill the security guy. He had a Mustache and wig.

Just got back from this. It can only be described in one word, really: badass.

I enjoyed it a lot. The story was strong, the actions was great, and the acting was good throughout the whole film. The cast of characters was just awesome. Is this the greatest film ever made? No, but it was a really badass one.

While some subplots were weak and unnecessary, and I also thought the big reveal at the end could have been better, I still had a lot of fun watching it. The final scene was great.

8/10.

So, I passed up seeing this movie (AGAIN) today.

I saw it and it's meh. Kinda like X3 where you leave thinking it coulda been more. The score/music throughout the film is annoying and or awful. Ryan R. does fine but I think that Liotta shines most. Ari from entourage is barely in it and when he is he's not doing much but wearing freaky contacts.
Some of the action is ok and the serial hired killer characters are alright too.
I did want more and would agree the trailer campiagn for this release is tops. The actual release not so much...

Kinda upset I chose this over Children of men which will 100% be paid for by next week.

Ok

I dug Smokin Aces, I think it is one of the best action movies that isn't a comic book adaptation in recent years and all that

but I do have to say, I think if you could only go to one (like in some random scenario where some devil says you have to choose one, and if you see the other he will burn your eyes out) you should have gone with Children of men

Children of Men was decent...

...not the uber amazing movie that people thought it was, IMO.
