Plot Summary: "Snow Angels," adapted from the novel of the same title by Stewart O'Nan, is two stories of love and loss converging. One is of a recently separated couple attempting to pick up the threads of a future when faced with tragedy. The second is about an awkward young man, currently in the throes of discovering his first romance, forced to deal with the separation and subsequent strife of his parents' relationship.

Curious, I wonder how they converge. I have a few theories.

tagline is cool, watched the trailer looks interesting thanks Hunter.

Saw this movie about a week ago. Pretty sad film...great performances though from Rockwell and Beckinsale. I would suggest it.

I saw this film finally over a week ago and I loved every minute of it, it was so sad. I really hope it wins an award.

It's out??? when did it come out?? lol

march 08' in selected theaters, now its out on dvd.

wow, really? not in the UK? well it came out in the film festivals in 07'. so i'm surprised it hasn't hit over there yet. thats kinda odd.

i've seen it.

the most depressing film ever. Kate was hot in it though. God..

Not to bring back a dead thread, but I saw this for the first time a few days ago and it was a very effective movie that I still am mauling around in my head. I like Green and think he has done better movies, but none are quite as memorable as this one imo. Rockwell gives an amazing performance and Beckinsale gives a career best. I thought their performances especially towards the end were truly organic, 100% believable and entirely heartbreaking. The kid was also very good and their story mirroring the Annie/Glenn story was nicely done but not in a preachy cautionary way. And it shows that despite this tragedy that has even worse disasterous consequences, it can still bring people together, like the boy's parents. Too bad that as life goes on, nobody even really cared about any of it.

Def. in my top 20 films of 2008 now.

I really enjoyed it. Great performances, and a great coming of age story for certain characters, and at the same time a heartbreaking one for others. Great movie.
