but i've seen no one blame the government. Its been a hell the last two months with floods now this and the terror threats but rarely have i heard people say the government is not doing enough. Maybe one or two victims of the floods but no political commentator has said Gordon Brown is not doing enough. Plus the labour government for Brown has beat the tories in those stupid polls the broadsheet papers commission for the first time since October. Dare I say it- Are we happy with our government? Would it be the same if Blair was still in charge? Is it Brown as a person that we like more? God help me, for the first time in my life i think it might be OK to vote labour.

indeed, i believe that gordon brown should have done more to stop the recent torrential rain...therefore preventing the floods and stopping the potential spread of foot and mouth. honestly, politicians these days don't know where their priorities lie.

lol- you'd be surprised how people would find a way to pin the blame on the government if it was unpopular. For example- why weren't we prepared? The rescue operation wasn't good enough. The outbreak was from a government laborotory - and none of this has come out like it would have done for tony blair
