batman wasnt a prick.. he was just... batman :x I think they ended it in This little piggy

    heres a quote :
[Batman and Wonder Woman are on a rooftop on stakeout. Wonder Woman notices some loving couples coming out of a nearby club]
Wonder Woman: Don't you ever wish you were down there?
Batman: I'm down there all I need to be.
Wonder Woman: Yes, but it's just a job to you. I'm talking about going down there and having some fun. Maybe... maybe with someone special.
    [pause]
Wonder Woman: No. No dating for the Batman. It might cut into your brooding time.
Batman: One: Dating within the team always leads to disaster. Two: You're a princess from a society of immortal warriors. I'm a rich kid with issues... lots of issues. And three: If my enemies knew I had someone special, they wouldn't rest until they'd gotten to me through her.
Wonder Woman: [crushes the head of a gargoyle with her hand] Next.
[an alarm sounds from an alley across the street]
    Batman: There!
[fires his bat rope and swings away]
Wonder Woman: Saved by the bell.

I think I'm actually one of the few who actually liked the romance.

He said that in this little piggy i think... or maybe it was maids of honor.. I dunno it was one of the two.

heres another quote from JLU regarding the love interest:

Green Lantern: Anyway, why are we always talking about my love life? What's going on between you and Diana?
Batman: Nothing. She's a respected colleague.
    Green Lantern: Uh-huh.
Batman: I don't have time to pursue a relationship. My work is too important to allow another distractions. Diana is a remarkable woman, she's a valued friend. She's... standing right behind me, isn't she?
Wonder Woman: Don't let that stop you - keep digging.

Mcduffie said that Diana just got the hint that he didnt want a relationship with her and stopped flirting with him.

Man, if he didn't want a relationship, there's always FWB (Friends with benefits) or like some people I know liek to call it "Friends Plus"... so yeah, Batman could have shacked up with Diana frequently and not gone out with her... but alas, Bruce didn't know the concept existed...

Bruce is too Work oriented to even think that something like that would be possible for him. Its still a relationship whether you like to call it that or not.

It would have been nice to see this plot line develope more. I would love to see Bats get a personal relationship with Diana. I think they balance each other out perfectly. But alas that sometimes doesnt even matter.

I got the feeling that Diana still wanted to be with him in "Dead Reckoning," when she tried to persuade Bruce to stop working and hang out. But obviously nothing ever happens.

The series was ended way too soon, so they probably didn't get enough time to finish that story.
We can assume that Bruce didn't let the relationship go any further. He never lets any one get too close to him in fear of losing them.

They didnt have time to finish the story? JL was almost the longest running series in DCAU history. They had more than enough time. Besides, the romance ended by never beginning.

bruce was doing batgirl thats why he didn't want wonderwoman. i mean think about it her vagina would crush his penis, she would need to have sex with some like superman so that there would be no fear of crushing his penis when she climaxes.

Well, we all know Bats tapped that ass in the comics. I would've loved to see the relationship take full flight sometime later on in the series when maybe, just maybe he opened up a little toward her. I mean, Hawkgirl and Green Lantern were in love along with Green Lantern being in love with Vixen, and nothing happend to either of them. To bad it may never EVER happen now. :down

Oh and HR-PUFF&STUFF, you seriously need to grow up.

    When was this?

In the comics it always seemed like Wonder Woman had a crush on Superman (see Trinity by Matt Wagner), while Bats had a crush on her.

Heck even Aquaman had a crush on Wonder Woman. I don't think she slept with either of them.

A more adult oriented cartoon (which it should have been given the time slot on CN) would have explored such issues. It is a shame, might have made this cartoon with the chick demographic (not that I know, but adding something like this could only add appeal with women while the guys rooted for Bats to get some.)
