Me and my friend were walking around Brooklyn one day and these kids stole our lunch and my cell phone. We went my friend's dad looking for them with a bat but we didn't find them. So we called the cops and went looking for them in a cop car for two hours and finally caught them. They ate the food but the phone was recovered.

I got rid of it a few months later.

Mostly money, my car has been broken into 3x, 2x at the apartments, and 1x at the dog park.........and I've had money stoken from me at the school where I teach.....the first time in my car I was loading my car for summer camps that I use to do in the summer.....so I lost quite a bit....sports equipment, music, etc.....but insurance took care of all of that.....2nd time, they got nothing, they just broke my windown again, 3rd time at the dog park, they broke my window, and stole my money from under my seat.....

Had a bike stolen once, got hit by a guy and he said he'd have the bike fixed for me, when I called him about the bike he never picked up and eventually the phone was disconnected.
