As you can probably see, I have an farily WIDE taste in music. I'm more of a fan of individual songs than I am any particular artist or genre. :)

I don't have an iPod, but I've got a Zen mp3 player. Alas it's but a small 1GB cause I'm poor. :csad::o

But on it at the moment:
Machine Head
Testament
Slayer
Sepultura
Turisas
Alestorm
Arnocorps
Nightwish

I'd need at least a 30-40GB to fit everything on there.

Tokyo Police Club
Bright Eyes
Death Cab for Cutie
The Cribs
Brand New
We Are Scientists
The Walkmen
Bob Dylan
Dear and the Headlights
Lady GaGa
Bloc Party
The Maccabees
Cold War Kids
Her Space Holiday
MGMT
Park Ave.

Don't feel like listing everything (too much stuff), but a few choice artists on the rotation at the moment:

De La Soul
Tribe Called Quest
Spooks
Ugly Duckling

Vids: Simpsons of course, and some Fam Guy. Very handy for those bus rides home when you're cranky from work.

That is one hell of a collection!

I have a Shuffle that only fits 250 songs or so, but that's more than enough for me. I don't need my entire library on hand when I'm out & about or in the car. I tend to play most songs out or get tired of them within the week anyway. Right now I have...

Green Day
The Offspring
HIM
Rise Against
Royksopp
Bloodhound Gang
Chevelle
Marilyn Manson
Nirvana
Tyler Read
311
30 Seconds To Mars

with many other random artists & 80's songs sprinkled throughout.

I have an iPod Video 160 GB (they're discontinued now)

I have:
- ~1500 songs
- Movies: Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and Iron Man
- TV Shows: Smallville, Supernatural, Lost, Nip/Tuck, Dexter, some Conan sketches
- ~20 Music Videos
- a couple of games like Poker, Sudoku, Tetris, and Sonic the Hedgehog

1 GB Ipod Shuffle - NPR's radiolab episodes
IPOD 20GB in a Bose docking station in my living room - has everything from children's music (for the kids), classic jazz (lots of Coltrane), classical, film scores and soundtracks, 70s, 80s, 90s, techno, new wave, prog rock (such as Rush's catalog) and a few odds & ends.

The entire Beatles discography.

hell yeah
right now I have

Andrew Bird
Animal Collective
Arcade Fire
Beatles
Bob Dylan
Bright Eyes
Cursive
Dodos
The Decemberist
Death Cab
Led Zepplin
M. Ward
Pavement
Pixies
Radiohead
Rolling Stones
White Stripes

and more.

If you like that you might enjoy the soundtrack of "Across the Universe." I'm not usually into alternative versions of Beatle's songs but this one was really good. It gave me a different perspective of some of their classic songs that gave me a newfound appreciation.
