So why is Marvel Team-up #15 missing?

It's not in Essential GR #1 and it's not in today's GR team up TPB.

Does Marvel have something against the first appearance of the Orb?

It was reprinted in last year's Essential Marvel Team-Up Volume One, so i guess Marvel felt they had it covered there.

Still, i agree they should have included it in one of the GR volumes, for GR fans not nescessarily interested in Spider-Man enough to have picked up Essential MTU.

exactly - especially since it's the first appearance of the Orb. If it had been some non-essential team up, it might have been more understandable. As it is, when the Orb shows up in Essential GR, anyone who only has the GR volume will wonder where this guy came from and what his connection to GR is.
