Yes but a character narrating while a song plays is a nigh impossible cinematic tightrope walk. Not for the faint of heart. Reeves barely pulled it off by the skin of his teeth - I hear his 'stache was seared off by the sun as he flew too close to it on his wax wings.

I never liked Nirvana. Always thought their music was overated garage band trash. The drummer obviously went onto shine and show true talent. So, "Something in the way" was meh...

I never understood the whole "Kurt Cobain" reminds me of Bruce Wayne vibe...How?

Well... thar post above will for sure divide!

But I gotta say that the link between Cobain and Bruce still doesn't always seem the most obvious or logical to me. I completely understand the shared feelings of depression and isolation, how Reeves perceives these two men as loners in their huge, decaying mansion. But I can't get over the fact that, while the alienation led Cobain to a slow but irreversible self-destruction, Bruce seems more prone to rage than to a suicide mission.
And it's true that I also thought of a young Reznor as an alternative candidate to embody Batman's “rock” alter ego.

But hey, I'm not going to complain. It's nitpicking territory.
And Something in the Way just worked f***ing great here.

Why is this funny. You’re not even old enough to remember when they existed. I saw Kurt in concert. They sucked and still suck period. You’re going to suggest a garage band from the 90s who rehashed older bands pretending to be innovative is like so amazing man!

I’m almost 50. I remember the grunge era. Don’t pretend to understand it or enter a diatribe with the rest of us that actually lived through that time frame.

Again, Kurt contain was no great guitar player or lyricist. What, you think they are as talented as TOOL? Nine inch naiils? Mastodon? Even zeppelin? Again. Boring choice for a song in a Batman film, and it was redone for it anyway.

I just don't find the Foo Fighters particularly interesting! Saying one of the most nothing, milquetoast major bands of the 21st century is more talented than Nirvana is crazy talk, and I don't even listen to Nirvana that much anymore! The Foo Fighters are okay at best.
