Do you have any favorites? Sometimes it's instrumental, sometimes it's vocal. I still sit through the entire end credit sequence of Gremlins just because I like that theme. Though some movies feature songs by popular artists, and on occasion the lyrics relate to the movie, but other times it's just a random song thrown on that has nothing whatsoever to do with the movie. I crack up when it's a pop song over end credits and the singer mentions the movie title in it just to make it relevant.

Over the end of Miller's Crossing, all though it's also played at the opening credits and a couple of times throughout, it's beautiful.

"May it Be", Lord of The Rings: Fellowship of the Ring
"Into The West", Lord of The Rings: Return of the King
"Broken" from The Punisher
"Heroes" from Godzilla
"If You Asked Me To" from Licence To Kill
End Credits to Star Trek: First Contact, Batman, X2, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Superman, Pirates Of The Caribbean

Streetfighting man by the Rolling Stones- V for Vendetta
Coconut by Harry Nilsson - Reservoir Dogs
Don't let me be misunderstood by Joe Cocker - Layer Cake
Jumping jack Flash by The Rolling Stones - Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

Mmm..the ones I can think of now are:

Love Song for a Vampire - Bram Stoker's Dracula

Paint it Black - The Devil's Advocate

You Could be Mine - Terminator 2

Livin Thing - Boogie Nights

My Way - GoodFellas

Something in the air - American Psycho / Memento

Danny Elfman's awesome score Batman 1989

John Carpenter music Halloween / The Thing

Blue Moon - American Werewolf in London

Set me Free - The Hulk

Midnight, the stars, and you - The Shining

Mall music - Dawn of the Dead (original)

Cant even tell - Clerks

I like how both these movies use the same song. American Psycho with Bale, Memento by Nolan, coincidence, I think not. ;)

"Big Trouble in Little China" - Big Trouble in Little China

Nice one.
Thanks.

Someone said earlier "Into the West" at the end of Return of the King, which to me was the single best piece of music in the entire trilogy.

Also, (I think it was the same person) said Star Trek: First Contact. Good call, that one had the best score out of all the Star Trek movies, too. The theme was simple, traditional, but great

Sin City and 28 Days Later end credits

''Something in the Air'' also happens to be a David Bowie song, who, as we all know, has a role in The Prestige.

Young Guns end credits
Spider-Man end credits
Punisher end credits "Broken".

Feel Flows by The Beach Boys in Almost Famous
My Way by Sid Vicious and Layla (Piano Exit) by Derek & The Dominos in Goodfellas
Goodbye, Goodbye by Oingo Boingo in Fast Times At Ridgemont High
Two Hearts by Chris Isaak at the end of True Romance

For some reason, I couldn't help but watch and listen to the end credits of "Cocoon" when I saw it a few months ago...the Main Theme score just hit me at the right time, I guess. Really great piece of music. :word:

The end of Goonies...not the first song...but as those credits roll it makes me start to feel happy, sad, nostalgic and then even sadder and happier all at once. Its a feeling I can only share with others who know what I'm talking about. werd:cool:

Street Fighting Man at the end of V for Vendetta is the best use of liscensed music during credits ever.
