They're the "wooo hoooo" band, aren't they? :cwink:

Yes, a FIFA game from the 90's introduced me to Blur, but I quite like them.

Some really cool songs here. I've got to come back and listen to some of the ones I haven't heard. Thumbs up, guys!

Here are some that chill me:

Gotye-Somebody That I Used to Know. Simple song with exotic instruments...he puts so much emotion into it that it moves me. Kimbra joins him with her quirky vocal harmonies. The video is also moving as both give powerful performances in it.
[YT]8UVNT4wvIGY[/YT]

Queen-Bohemian Rhapsody Freddy Mercury gets me in the video when he sings "I sometimes wish I'd never been born at all!". And Brian May wrings some epic emotion from his guitar.
[YT]irp8CNj9qBI[/YT]

Fleetwood Mac-Silver Springs (live) One of those times when a live performance brings out more in a song than a audio version could. Stevie Nicks stares down Lindsey Buckingham while singing a song she wrote about him. They end up locking stares by the end...the decades of electricity and emotion between them is on display...very raw.

Alice In Chains-Would? Something about this video gets to me every single time. That bass line is primal and the way Jerry Cantrell weaves that guitar riff around it haunts me. The video inserts some black and white footage of "people" in just the right places. The trademark AiC vocal harmonies make things even more spooky.

Queensryche-Eyes of a Stranger A slight bit of 80s cheese, but Geoff Tate's performance in the video just overwhelms me. When he sings "Looking back at me!" it blows me away....especially since he does not hold back in the video...I can really believe he is singing...no calm lip syncing there.

:whatever: Stop pushing your own stuff. This isn't myspace.

Somebody that I used to know -Gotye (or the superb Walk off the Earth cover)

Not really songs, per se, but Danny Elfman's 'Batman 1989' theme and John Williams 'Superman' theme always give me chills in their build-up's.
