For me songs that resonate or songs that fit The Batman so perfectly like a glove are:

- Kiss From A Rose by Seal
- The End is The Beginning is The End by Smashing Pumpkins

Other than that I can't think of any other songs that can work in 2021's The Batman

Or a remix of the Nolan Batman theme works too

The only song that has aged perfectly well.

Songs can fit a more over-the-top/campy Batman adaptation. But I don't think it's where they will go with this film. So no songs please.

Eh. Not really. Songs can work into a dark noir film depending on the scene and context. If Bruce is at a billionaire party it makes total sense to have something playing on the background.

Or if they go with a more rock/metal then Guns n Roses

Captain Marvel did a really bad job of incorporating popular music into a superhero movie. It has to be handled tastefully.

I’m fine with no popular music being used and only a score

Yeah, CM was really bad with how they incorporated the music. When No Doubt started playing, I couldn’t stop laughing at how bad it was. The song didn’t even properly match with the scene, they just put it in because....well, it’s obvious why. :hehe:

Reeves says they're bringing attention back to the detective element, huh? Well that settles it...

What’s that? Reeves is planning on having the white lenses?

Then there’s only one song worthy...

I remember back when Limp Bizkit did that **** cover of "Behind Blue Eyes" I saw people posting online that it should be used in a Batman movie because they thought the first line in the song was "No one knows what it's like to be the Batman".

:lmao:

If WB marketing team decides to hire a band to make a song for the Batman as they seem to have a tendency of doing lately with their films (I mean, for almost every single film since Suicide Sqaud they've hired someone to make original music)... I say they should just get The Last Shadow Puppets, or more directly, Alex Turner.
He's extremely popular among young audiences, he's played around with sounds that very much fit in line with the noir inspiration Matt Reeves is gonna take with the film, he's a big Batman fan (he purposefully bought his house just around the Batcave/Wayne Manor studio of Adam West for god's sake), he's a good song writer, he'd probably manage to make an original song or songs for the film that wouldn't feel out of place and would fit with the aesthetic Matt Reeves is crafting, and he's already made a soundtrack for Submarine that was quite good and and fit perfectly with the thematic of that film. He'd probably do a good job unlike "Ocean to ocean"

Another song Batman could use is My Immortal by Evanescence

I remember back before Begins came out, people really wanted Green Day's I Walk Alone to lead the soundtrack. I'm so happy that chunk of crap suggestion didn't pan out.

Orchestral versions of the incredibly bad ass music from the sega genesis Sunsoft Batman game. That game has some of the best themes I’ve heard. So addictive and catchy.

As a guy who works with bands, I have long wished that Horror movies would get back into the habit of having rock songs in them.

But for this Batman movie...I'm good with just a score.

Black Black Heart

Staind- So Far Away

“Bicycle Race” by Queen.

Just have a scene where the Batcycle breaks down and Batman has to give chase on a 10-speed.
