Yeah if they can get the Merch out in time, KPDH will likely dominate Xmas like it has the summer and charts. Everyone will want a Rumi doll or Derpy. Plus I read they had the most costume changes in an animated movie ever so they can sell more than one version of the female leads, licence to print money.

Yeah I dont think anyone predicted this success so there isnt much ready to go in the Merch department I guess yet.

Knowing who I was as a kid, if I was able to transfer all of my current knowledge into my younger self and didn’t have to worry about being self-conscious, I totally would have been all over and bought the inevitable light-up toy versions of Mira’s Gok-do and Rumi’s Sain-geom, one action figure each of the characters in their 4 biggest looks in the film (beginning, leather battle fit, Idol Awards, “What It Sounds Like”), light-up or glow-in-the-dark Demon Rumi with interchangeable head and demon arm, the playset, etc. as birthday or Christmas presents.

for some reason the next video in a playlist (metal version of a KPDH song) has replaced the thumbnail of the video of her video so now when I refresh the page I only see that new metal cover thumbnail wtf.

Yeah she said on Insta they had some issues with some hackers or something on You Tube so I guess that have caused it. Mine is now a Taylor Swift song, lol, so not very KPDH relevant now.

I’m in the middle of watching funnylilgalreacts reaction of Kpop Demon Hunters, and when Rumi asks “My dad was a demon?”, Celine neither outright confirms or denies and doesn’t give a straight answer. So, despite some old storyboards and some fan theories, we don’t actually know from who, where or how Rumi got her patterns.

That definitely opens up some really interesting opportunities and directions to go in the sequel.

kind of a bummer unlike last time my local theater is not playing the movie only ones in Erie PA, about 45 miles away and Buffalo an hour and a half away are playing it. Last time I asked if I could take my niece to Erie a few years ago her mother shot it down saying she was not comfortable her going that far out of town without her or her dad but she is now 10 so I am hopeful if I ask her if she can go to the Erie showing she will allow it.

That is a really great Zoey cosplay by Rei. And, oh my god, EJAE in the Derpy costume! That’s great!

The more I learn about and see of them, the more I love them. I adore our wonderful little chaos gremlins.

At some point whenever I get over all these physical issues and am able to get to a point where I pass, I’m totally cosplaying a bunch of characters I’ve always wanted to dress up as for fun, but particularly Rumi and Mira.
