A lot of the French critics were upset because the film ended before the Queen was sent to the guillotine, so yeah it was booed by about 5-10 critics(says Roger Ebert)...but French critics are snobs anyway

I absolutely cannot wait to see this movie. Since watching Lost In Translation, Sofia Coppola has became a God to me.

THE FOUNTAIN AND THE PRESTIGE OUT IN THE SAME MONTH? Holy god awesome!!!!!! I really couldn't care about Marie Antoinette, as I didnt really like Lost in Translation, and kirsten dunst is annoying.

I dunno. There's just something about this film that's had an underlying current of vapidness to it in everything I've seen about it. Something's missing and I can't quite put my finger on it. I do hope I'm wrong, because I like Coppola's work and would like to see this be as good as it has the potential to be.
