It actually looks a lot better than I expect it. It actually looks really good. Plus Dunst is amazingly hot. I might check it out.

^Good for you!:D:up: I think the film will be great:cool:

Is there more nekkid Kirsten?
I'm not sure....

I don't know why Dunst gets bashed so much on this board. I think she's fine as MJ, if a bit miscast, plus she's quite cute:

This looks amazing. I just wonder if they will show the execution and subsequent displaying of the decapitated head.

I can't wait to see moonface-snaggletooth get her head lopped off.

That isn't the new trailer. That is about two months old. The new one came out last week.

In that case I'm happy to tell you the credits will roll well before Antoinette gets decapitated:)

Didn't this movie get booed at Cannes?
A lot of the French critics were upset because the film ended before the Queen was sent to the guillotine, so yeah it was booed by about 5-10 critics(says Roger Ebert)...but French critics are snobs anyway:o

The film also received an 11 minute standing ovation at another screening.

I absolutely cannot wait to see this movie. Since watching Lost In Translation, Sofia Coppola has became a God to me.

The story seems to go that the French critics have no idea of the concept of satire.

THE FOUNTAIN AND THE PRESTIGE OUT IN THE SAME MONTH? Holy god awesome!!!!!! I really couldn't care about Marie Antoinette, as I didnt really like Lost in Translation, and kirsten dunst is annoying. :o

I dunno. There's just something about this film that's had an underlying current of vapidness to it in everything I've seen about it. Something's missing and I can't quite put my finger on it. I do hope I'm wrong, because I like Coppola's work and would like to see this be as good as it has the potential to be.

That really sucks. She's famous for two things: "Let them eat cake" and he beheading.

Well, the quote is in the movie...
