It's obviously not what Venom is going to look like on screen on Sony would be throwing a fit right now and trying to get all of the book covers off of the net

You can preorder the spider-man 3 book, and it's already got the cover online. It's a children's book, that's why it looks like a cartoon version of Venom.

That's cool, dude. But why does it say, "I am Venom" when it should says "we" are Venom?

He's purple because all its easier to highlight with color like purple then doing shades of black. They do it to batman and venom in the comics.

venom wont be purple in the movie, everything else on him will be, im very happy venom will be black, it wouldnt look good at all if he was purple.

I also hope Venom doesn't refer to himself as "WE" which is one of his more annoying traits from the comics.

well i mean venom is brock+symbiote = we...i dunno, i'm cool with it = shows that he accepts the symbiote whereas peter rejects it and stays an individual...good lessons for the kiddies to be yourself

...Kid's book or not, am I the only person who thinks that looks absolutely hideous? Aside from being purple, that's not the problem, the artwork just flat-out sucks. When I first saw it I thought it was just some ****ty fan-art, but some companie's actually going to publish that?

That's by-far one of the worst Venom drawings of all time, and we all know there have been some BAD Venoms.

I always felt that the fact Eddie refered to himself as "We" was integral to Brock. Eddie never fully gives into the symbiote either, because Eddie IS NOT an evil being. Eddie wants in his own mind is a hero, granted his means are....well hes called the lethal protector for a reason. Whereas Kassidy fully embraced the symbiote hence why the Carnage/Kassidy combo referes to itself as "I".

Yeah, but if he truly accepted the symbiote then he'd see himself as being "one" with it. Two halves of a whole. So it's reasonable that he'd refer of himself and the symbiote as I in terms of the Venom persona.

Anyway, as shown in Batman Forever, having an actor refer to himslef as "WE" is clunky.

agreed, in the book venim is purple because kids that are 5 years old are ganna read the book, black would make him look scary, im glad hes black in the movie though, he wouldnt look good without that color.
