The Amazing Spider-Man Spider-Man 4 Video Game Thread. - Part 1

At this point I'm more interested in the game than I am the film. I mean I still want the film and Andrew Garfield to do well, but there are a couple of things I'm worried about with the film that I just can't manage to really care for it at the moment. Maybe that will change closer to the movie and we have more of an idea of how it will turn out.

What I hope for is that if they do include extra villains not included in the movie that they are given an update in look in keeping with the style of the movie. I'd be really interested to see an update of Shocker in the movie style.

Since Batman Arkham Asylum and Arkham City are kinda spiritually based on the Batman animated series, it came to my mind that a game spiritually based on the 90's animated series would be pretty awesome

Why 90's animated and not the Spectacular Spider-man? Well, even though Spectacular Spider-man was definitely better, in a way it will never be as iconic as the 90's animated show

We already had games spiritually based on the 90s animated series. They were called Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro for the PlayStation 1.

Anyways, I think it'd be pretty cool if they kept extending onto this game. They already said that it's not entirely a movie tie in. So therefore if the game does well, they could always do a sequel to it, but not a movie tie in.

That is highly unlikely

And I'm not saying that Spidey should copy everything Batman does, I just simply think that it would be a cool concept

For Spidey it would. They're not gonna reinvent the wheel.

Copying is mostly considered a bad thing.

However, I wouldn't mind copying alot from the Arkham games. Simply because there's so much there that would be perfect for Spidey, with lots of new ideas added too of course.

I just watched alot of vids of Catwoman in combat and I must say I'd love if Spidey would have some similar moves.
