I think it's interesting that you like the Spidey/Ock team up story better than the Master Planner story...MP is considered one of the classics....

If you dont mind me asking, what's your thought process in regards to that?

I was looking for 2 or more storylong arcs, and AF 15 ould have naturally killed the competition, so I also try to avoid the "obvious" winner when compiling these competitions.

It is hard to choose. They're all classic Ock stories IMO. But the Spidey/Ock debacle is a personal fav of mine because it's one of the first Doc Ock stories I ever read.

Also it's the first time Ock went all out and tried to conquer the world, by stealing the Nullifier weapon. And in the process he rented Aunt May's spare room to hide from the law, ended up causing May to have another stroke and wrecked the Parker home, outsmarted and outwitted the entire army, and brain washed Spider-Man into becoming a criminal.

Basically he was completely bad ass in that 4 parter.Not to mention this arc introduced a certain Police Captain

Master Planner was great too. And really showed Spidey's inner strength. It's a story that focused more on Spidey than Ock.

I agree... it's a classic example of how comic book writing should be... a never ending saga of our favorite web-head.

And remember at the end, Spidey still had amnesia and he only regained his memory after splashing in water after fighting Ka-Zar the next issue...
