Mary Jane? Really people? I wouldn't put Gwen or MJ near the top of my list, but Gwen is a much more interesting character overall. She's a better love interest who can actually keep up with Peter and her death is one of the best stories in comic book history. MJ is just kinda... there. Mostly, to have someone for Spidey to save. I don't dislike her, but she's really not that interesting. Especially compared to Gwen. But hey, my trash is your treasure!

Oh, I'm not. You'd have to be clinically insane to vote for Raimi's Mary Jane in anything but a contest for worst female character ever. MJ has had some good portrayals in the past. Especially in most of the Spider-Man animated shows. But I still think Gwen is a more interesting character overall. And certainly a better match for Peter.
