Spider-Man friend or foe Game Thread

He cant swing!!!! That sucks!! How does he move around then? Dont tell me he just jumps like he did in ultimate spiderman.
Now im wondering if i should get this game or not...
But you think its good right?

He walks around and he jumps, but he doesn't jump as high as in Ult. Spider-Man. Since he's a tank character and in the gaming world, most people with muscular stature are tanks, that's how he'll be treated. So, don't expect him to swing around any time soon in games.

What grabs can he do?

Like Spider-Man's web grab, he just uses his tendrils from his suit.

So whats the storyline like, and what villain do you get to play as first?

I've only played the demo, but the storyline's pretty good. It's cheesy but decent. The first hero you play with is The Prowler and I think the next one is either Doc Ock or Green Goblin.

Does spidys suit have the light silver web on it in the ps2 version?
It looks just like the one he wears in spider-man 3

Not sure, I've only played the PC version's demo. I know in the demo, he has black webs on his suit like he does in the comics.

Oh my god you guys, I just went out and bought this and i'm having a problem that I ran into with the demo. When I dl the demo it would boot up but it was nothing but a white screen but I could hear all the sound like the activision sign that swooshing sound it makes. well I thought maybe the demo was just corrupted or somthing but I just bought this game and it wont freakin' work. gamestop will NOT let me return this becuaue they don't accept returns on pc games. I know they said it requires direct x 9.0 which I have because I dl it after the demo wouldn't work. I have an ATI radeon stealth diamond 9250 with latest drivers as far as I know. If you guys could help me out with some ideas you would forever be my new GOD. I can't belive this is happening.

Ha, I just seen the Venom spot the other night.

Is the psp version any good?

It's a bit watered down from the console version's, no animated cutscenes as in the console versions (it does have the opening cutscene) but it has a few extra characters.

Nope, the gameplay is terrible. It's easy, repetitive, boring and tedious. You just run around and mash same button over and over until the horde of enemies you're fighting explode into little orbs.

You're crazy for even thinking on paying THAT much money on a game, especially this type of game where it's obvious button masher and nothing new. I wouldn't even consider it with that pice
