I don‘t see how they‘ll be able to shoot a movie in NYC right now or in a few weeks.
The pandamemic, political protetsts and riots, increasing crime rates, shootings where children were killed...never has NYC been dangerous in the last 20 years
It would‘ve been easier, Homesomething 3 was set during a field trip to Europe

It'll be sometime in September/October is what they're aiming for, not in a few weeks. Holland just started filming Uncharted.

Yes, because he might not be finished with Uncharted yet. But I’d imagine the scenes where he’s not needed would be pretty limited.

I know he‘s doing most of his stunts by himself, but this time they could easily film the scenes with him in costume with a body double.
Not the perfect way, but another delay will cause so much problems

He's always had a stunt double for some stuff.

If they film all of the scenes in costume with another person though, it'd have to be someone whose body looks like his and moves the same way, or it'd be kinda obvious and distracting.

Not really. There will be likely a lot of scenes with the villain(s) and such by themselves and supporting characters, etc. They can stretch that out pretty good.

We have to be getting closing close to them announcing whomever is playing the villain if the September start date pans out. I think I'll be surprised at this point if it turns out not to be Kraven regardless of casting.

But I doubt we‘ll hear a confirmation who plays the vilain.
At SDCC 2018 there were rumors about Jake Gylenhaal being Mysterio...but it was confirmed in the first trailer 6 months later
